During the summer of 2014, the O’Neill not only celebrated its 50th anniversary season, which was accompanied by a rush of positive publicity and accolades, but also was well underway with a major physical campus expansion project—the first in the O’Neill’s history. The $8 million dollar project was a culmination of more than seven years of planning and, the leadership hoped, a herald of an age of unprecedented stability and prosperity for the organization.
Given the long list of challenges, capital and operational needs, and the O’Neill’s desire for stability, which of its aspirations and goals would the O’Neill prioritize?
